While you shouldn’t lean on any one thing for your health, you’re entirely wrong that ACV is the same as all other vinegars including those made from wheat, barley or vegetables.

Also, some of the examples you gave as “fads” are super good for you, such as lemon water. A squeeze of lemon into a glass of water is a super nutritious way to start the day. (Drink half an hour before you plan on eating anything to help your metabolism). I think you’re confusing developments in our understanding of health with fads.
