The end of July marks the first time The Mile High Club will roll into a second month.
This brand new publication has been an enormous source of joy for me since its birth earlier this month.
Identity
I went through a lot of different names before settling on ‘The Mile High Club’. I wanted to call it ‘Up in the Air’ but that name, along with a lot of other names were already taken.
I finally settled on ‘High Up’ and published two stories into the publication under that name before in a dream I thought of the current name.
It’s true!
I know it sounds like the plot of an awful movie probably starring Katherine Heigl, but it’s actually true.
I woke up from the dream with limbs flailing and hair tossing. I raced to my laptop and updated the name.
Since that dream-induced moment we’ve had a fantastic early run, and I’d like to introduce you to a few gems that stood out over the month.
