For those of you who are unfortunate enough to have never found Roz Warren, allow this reading experience to be your gateway to well written and hilarious Medium content.
Roz has been contributing to Medium for a really long time (not sure how long), and produces typically short, snappy, and funny pieces of work.
I discovered her over a year ago when she reached out with a story she wrote about her experience during a flight. She wanted to add it to my first publication, The Mile High Club. I read it and found it funny and relatable, so I added her as a writer and posted the story.
I remember checking out her profile and seeing that she’d written for the New York Times and was justifiably gobsmacked. I also remember lowering my laptop screen and shouting out to my partner “she’s written for the New York Times! My gaaaaaaaaddd!”
After posting Warren’s story, my excitement melted into jealous rage when her story jumped to the top of my publication’s viewership stats, only overtaken when she contributed a second story months later! I was furious, but in a much more real sense, impressed by someone who garners so much respect on the platform.
