‘Boo Bash’ is the Laughing Stock of Global Disney Parks
Shanghai Disneyland turns it out without the price tag
Shanghai Disneyland has just started their Halloween celebration as of October 4th, and while it’s as basic as ever, it’s giving the toned down ‘Boo Bash’ event at Walt Disney World a run for its money.
The Shanghai Disneyland event titled ‘Wicked Halloween Surprises’ ties in with this year’s theme ‘A Year of Magical Surprises’ celebrating the park’s 5th anniversary. I took part in the event today, and found it an adequate Halloween experience, especially given the price.. or lack there of.
The Florida-Based Option
U.S Disney goers have the option of participating in Walt Disney World’s ‘Boo Bash’ this year, a brand new replacement for ‘Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party’ of years past.
The new event allows guests to run wild inside the park from 9pm or 9:30pm (depending on the night) and includes complementary candy, popcorn and Mickey Bar ice-creams.
The Disney World event features several cavalcades, unique snacks, and rare character appearances. However, some guests have reported the event as a lacklustre offering when compared to previous years.
